Teacher: Why were you late for school today?


Micheal: I was late because I missed my bus.


Teacher: Why did you miss your bus?

Micheal: I miss my bus as I woke up late.

Teacher: Why did you wake up late?

 Micheal: I woke up late because my mother didn't wake me up.

Teacher:  And why didn't  your mother wake you up?

Micheal: Because she got up late!

Teacher: Why has the teacher punished the boy?

Micheal: The teacher has punished the boy because he hasn't done his homework.

Teacher: Why didn't he do his homework ? Micheal: He didn't do his homework because he was not well.

Teacher: Why did the teacher punish the class?

Micheal: The teacher punished the class because children were making a noise.

Teacher: why were the children making a noise ?

George: They were making a noise because they had no work to do.

George: The child is crying because he is hungry.

George: The birds are flying back to their nests as it is evening now and they want to rest.

Teacher: Why is she sweating so much? George: She is sweating so much because it is very hot today?



Teacher: Why do we feel so cold in the month of January in Delhi?

George: We feel so cold in January in Delhi because it is winter time and in Delhi winter is specially cold.





 Teacher : Why is the man carrying an umbrella?

George: The man is carring an umbrella as it is raining.

Teacher: Why is did you fail in the test?

George: I failed in the test because i was not prepared for it.

Teacher: Why is the old man walking slowly?



George: The old man is walking slowly because he is old and weak.

Teacher: Why is the boy not playing with his friends?

George: The boy is not playing with his friends because he is injured.

Teacher: Why will you be tomorrow?

George:I shall be absent tomorrow because I have to go with my parents to attend a wedding.

Teacher: Why was your friend absent from school yersterday?

George: My friend was absent from school yesterday because he was sick.

Teacher: Why do we go to a toy shop?



George: We go to a toyshop  to buy toys.

Teacher: Why do we buy toys?

George: We buy toys to play with.

Teacher: Why has he gone to a grocer's shop?

George:He has gone to a grocer's shop to buy sugar,pulses and rice etc.

Teacher: Why is he going to a barber's shop?



George: He is going to a barber's shop to get a haircut.

Teacher: Why do we go to school?

George: We go to school to study and learn  many things.

Teacher: Why has your sister gone to a stationer's shop?

George: My sister has gone to a stationer's shop to buy notebook, pencil and pens etc.

Teacher: Why do we go to a park?



George: We go to a park to have a walk or to play.
